About the artist:
My art expresses the liveliness and the raw emotion I see in the world around me. Through the act of creating, I ultimately aim to seek wonder and excitement in everyday lives. In my stronger pieces there is rarely one technique going on. Excitement for a diversity of crafts fuel my desire to create. I like to paint, draw, and use mixed media; incorporating my own photography or pulling apart old vinyl cover art. My hands design bold, nonlinear patterns, taking geometric shapes and combining them with lines, swirls, arrows, or wave crescents. On canvas, paired with a brushstroke of thick acrylic paint they resemble graffiti markings.
